Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: April 18, 2026

01 Introduction

At Ridera Labs, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality website development and software solutions. Because our services involve dedicating billable hours, custom strategy, and development resources, our refund and cancellation policy is structured to be fair to both our clients and our team.

  • By engaging our services and paying an initial deposit, you agree to the following terms.

02 Website & Software Development Projects

Web design and software development projects are divided into milestones. Refunds are handled as follows:

  • Before Work Commences: If you request a cancellation before any kickoff meetings or project work has begun, you are eligible for a 100% refund of your deposit (minus any payment gateway processing fees).
  • During the Project: If you cancel after work has commenced, the initial advance/deposit is strictly non-refundable. If the work completed exceeds the value of the initial deposit, you will be billed for remaining pro-rated billable hours up to the point of cancellation.
  • After Delivery / Launch: Once the website or software has been approved, migrated to your server, or launched, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

03 Third-Party Services & Assets

As part of our services, we often purchase third-party assets on your behalf:

  • Payments made for Domain Registration, Web Hosting, SSL Certificates, Paid Plugins, and API Licences are strictly non-refundable once purchased, as these are processed directly through third-party providers.
  • Upon cancellation, ownership of these procured assets will be transferred to you.

04 Maintenance, Hosting & Retainer Contracts

For ongoing month-to-month services such as website maintenance or hosting provided by us:

  • Subscriptions and retainers can be cancelled at any time with a standard 30-day written notice.
  • We do not offer pro-rated refunds for the remainder of the current billing cycle. Services will continue until the end of the active billing period.

05 Client Delays and Abandonment

To ensure quality and workflow efficiency, projects require timely feedback from the client:

  • If a project is delayed for more than 30 consecutive days due to lack of communication, content delivery, or feedback from the client, the project will be considered "abandoned."
  • Abandoned projects are subject to closure without a refund. Resuming an abandoned project may incur an additional restart fee.

06 How to Request a Cancellation

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Please email your request to info@rideralabs.com. We will review your project status and process any eligible refunds within 7 to 10 business days.

07 Governing Law

Any disputes regarding this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
