Build things you're proud of, with people you actually like.

Ridera Labs is a small, senior team shipping real products for real businesses. No surveillance software, no soul-grinding processes, no 200-person Slack — just craft, ownership, and a studio in Pune full of people who like what they do.

Why Ridera

A studio, not a headcount machine.

Senior team, real ownership, calm pace.

We've stayed deliberately small. Every project is led by someone senior, every person on the team has a name on something shipped, and nobody is asked to do work they wouldn't put their name on.

You'll be in the same room — physical or virtual — as the people making the decisions. You'll talk to clients. You'll see how things you build show up in the real world. If you want to spend the next few years doing your best work and getting better at your craft, this is a good place to do that.

We pay well, we trust people, we end the day at a reasonable hour, and we celebrate the wins. That's most of the secret.

How we work

A few things we genuinely believe.

These aren't poster-on-the-wall values. They show up in how we hire, what we build, and how we treat each other on a regular Tuesday.

01

Craft matters.

The web is full of slop. We'd rather ship one thing properly than ten things half-built. Every commit, every pixel, every line of copy is someone's name on the wall.

02

Honesty over politics.

We say what we think, we tell clients when they're wrong, and we tell each other when we've messed up. No subtext, no spin, no performative niceness — just real conversation.

03

Small & senior.

We hire slowly and pay properly. Every person on the team is someone we'd trust to lead a project tomorrow. No coordination tax, no review chains six layers deep.

04

Calm by default.

We don't ship at 2 AM, we don't message on weekends, and we don't reward heroics. Sustainable pace produces better work — we've spent ten years proving it.

05

Show your work.

Drafts over decks. A live URL beats a screenshot, a screenshot beats a paragraph, a paragraph beats a meeting. We learn in public, with each other.

06

Grow on purpose.

Real budgets for books, courses, and conferences. Quarterly 1:1s about where you actually want to be in two years. Promotion paths that aren't a mystery.

What you get

The practical stuff.

Good pay, real benefits, and the kind of small touches that add up to a workplace you actually look forward to on Monday.

Above-market salary

We benchmark against the top quartile and review every six months — not just at hire time.

Health for the family

Comprehensive medical cover for you, your partner, kids, and parents. Dental and vision too.

24 days off, plus

24 days paid leave, 12 public holidays, sick days when you need them. Take them, please.

Hybrid that works

Two days from the studio, three from wherever you do your best work. Or any split that fits.

Learning budget

₹60k a year for books, courses, conferences, or that workshop you've been eyeing. No approvals.

Top-spec kit

Latest MacBook Pro, monitor, chair you'll actually like sitting in. Renewed every 3 years.

Friday focus

Zero internal meetings on Fridays. Use the day to ship, learn, or finally finish that side thing.

No after-hours pings

Notifications off after 7. No weekend Slack. If it's actually urgent, someone will call.

Annual offsite

One week, somewhere warm and unhurried. The whole team, every year. Family welcome.

Parental leave

26 weeks for primary caregivers, 8 for secondary. Phased return on whatever schedule works.

Profit share

Every full-timer shares in the studio's success — distributed twice a year, no fine print.

Coffee, lunch, snacks

The studio kitchen is always stocked. Hot lunch every day. Good coffee, obviously.

Open positions

We're hiring.

A handful of roles, hand-written by the people you'd actually work with. If something looks close to right, send a note — we read every application personally.

Don't see your exact role?

If you do something interesting and you think you'd fit here, write to us anyway. Some of our best hires came from an unsolicited email and a portfolio we couldn't put down. Tell us what you make, who you've worked with, and what you'd want to do next.

Day 14 — 21
Before you ask

Honest answers to common questions.

Do I need to be in Pune?

For some roles, yes — for others, no. Each role lists "Pune · Hybrid" or "Remote · India" up front. We're not hiring outside India right now, but we plan to.

Can fresh graduates apply?

Most of our open roles call for 3+ years, but we run a small intern programme each summer. Drop us a note in March and we'll keep you in mind.

Is the take-home really paid?

Yes — a flat ₹8,000 for the time, win or lose. It's a couple of evenings of work; we wouldn't ask you to spend a weekend for free.

What's the timeline from first email to offer?

Usually 10 to 14 days. We try not to drag things out. If we're slow on a given week, we'll tell you and give you a real date.

Do you do contract or freelance work?

Sometimes — particularly for short specialist engagements (illustration, copy, niche eng work). Send a note to careers@ and we'll see what fits.

What happens if you don't pick me?

You'll hear back, with reasons, by email. We won't ghost you. And if it was close, we'll often say "in six months, please write again" — and mean it.

The kind of place you stay.

If any of this sounds like the work you want to be doing for the next few years — pick a role, or write us anyway. We'd love to meet.
